Ask to the opened source if the device supports a kind of pixel type.

Syntax

object.TwainIsPixelTypeAvailable (nPixelType)

The TwainIsPixelTypeAvailable syntax has these parts:

Part Description
object Required. An object expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.
nPixelType Required. Long.

-BW = 0
-GRAY = 1
-RGB = 2
-PALETTE = 3
-CMY = 4
-CMYK = 5
-TWPT_YUV = 6
-TWPT_YUVK = 7
-TWPT_CIEXYZ = 8
-TWPT_SRGB = 9
-TWPT_SRGB64 = 10

Returns

Boolean. True if the (nPixelType) pixel type is available else False.

Remarks

Before using this function check that the TWAIN state is >= 4 (TWAIN_SOURCE_OPEN)
To get the TWAIN state, use the TwainGetState() function.
